My family has been involved with serving the vulnerable for about 10 years. My church has a Family Advocacy Ministry in which I am very involved. Finding creative ways to serve the populations around us that need support- whether it be adoptive or foster families, vulnerable biological families, or others- are causes that I feel the church is called to do and I love to help with this!

Through my own personal journey, I have seen firsthand how impactful it is for people to become like family as they commit to being in community through a child's foster care journey. I have 6+ years of experience in personally launching and leading Family Advocacy Ministries and coaching other advocates to do the same. I reside in Indianapolis, IN with my husband and my children who came through biology, foster care and adoption.

My family has been a licensed foster family for over 5 years. I also lead the Family Advocacy Ministry at my church. I have a heart to see the church step alongside vulnerable families. Although not everyone is called to foster or adopt we can all do something. I love getting to work alongside churches and individuals as they try to figure out where God is leading as they take their first steps to step into the stories of kids and families.
